Al-Manal Association Welcomes Delegation from the Saudi Center for Culture and Development and the Palestinian Water Authority

Deir Al-Balah – Al-Manal Association for the Development of Rural Women welcomed a delegation from the Saudi Center for Culture and Development, represented by media professional Mr. Issam Abu Khalil, accompanied by a delegation from the Palestinian Water Authority. The official visit aimed to review the progress of work and ongoing projects within the association and to follow up on the latest developments regarding the joint agreement between the two parties.

During the meeting, discussions focused on the project to establish desalination plants in various areas of the Gaza Strip, particularly the planned project in Deir Al-Balah. Mr. Mahmoud Musabeh, the association’s director, emphasized the urgent need of the city’s residents for such a vital project and affirmed the association’s readiness to provide all necessary facilities to ensure its success.

The meeting also addressed the terms of the agreement, future work mechanisms, and the relief file concerning orphan data. Data collection has already begun in coordination with the Saudi Center in preparation for providing assistance according to a well-studied plan.

The visit concluded with a field tour of the association’s facilities and projects, during which the delegation expressed its appreciation for the association’s efforts and the importance of strengthening cooperation to serve the community.
