Amid an atmosphere of enthusiasm and determination, the women and girls participating in the sewing and embroidery training at Al-Manal Association for the Development of Rural Women continue their journey to acquire professional skills, as part of the project “Enhancing Economic Opportunities and Sustainable Livelihoods for the Most Vulnerable Groups in the Gaza Strip”, funded by the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development.
The training is supervised by a highly qualified instructor with extensive experience in sewing and embroidery, ensuring high-quality sessions that significantly enhance the trainees’ skills and capacities.
The participants demonstrate remarkable commitment and discipline in attendance and engagement. They have already begun mastering sewing machines and embroidery tools, reflecting a genuine desire to develop themselves and open new doors in the job market.
“I feel I’m getting closer to achieving my dream,” said one participant, her eyes gleaming with hope. “I used to think these skills were out of reach, but now I see myself improving day by day.”
This training goes beyond technical skills — it empowers women and girls, equipping them with tools for personal and social transformation and giving them space to unleash their potential in a supportive, safe environment.
