Al-Manal Association Holds an Interactive Meeting with Parents of Children Benefiting from the Learning Units and Psychosocial Support Project in Deir Al-Balah

This morning, Tuesday, Al-Manal Association for Rural Women Development organized an interactive meeting with over 80 parents of children benefiting from the “Learning Units and Psychosocial Support” project at the association’s headquarters in Deir Al-Balah.

Parents expressed their children’s strong eagerness to learn and actively engage in the project’s activities, noting that the children’s participation in the project’s learning units greatly exceeds their attendance in formal schools, especially amid the challenging circumstances Gaza is facing.

Parents praised the modern educational approach and the supportive environment the project provides, which combines education with psychological and social recovery, motivating children to participate and interact positively.

The project team emphasized that this strong turnout reflects the project’s success in offering a safe and encouraging environment that compensates for the difficulties children face and supports their academic and psychological development comprehensively.

The meeting also included a relaxation and therapeutic session for parents, conducted by the psychosocial support team to enhance partnership and cooperation between families and the project.

At the end, parents shared constructive feedback and suggestions to further develop the program in line with their children’s needs, stressing the importance of continuing these educational initiatives and psychosocial support to foster a holistic development for the children.
