Gaza – Al-Manal Association for Rural Women Development, in partnership with the French organization Super Nova Foundation, has launched the “Providing Safe Drinking Water to Displacement Camps in the Central Governorate” project, following the signing of a cooperation agreement aimed at enhancing displaced families’ access to clean and potable water.

On Monday, August 25, 2025, the first water distribution took place in camps hosting internally displaced persons (IDPs) in central Gaza, where families received supplies of safe drinking water. This humanitarian initiative seeks to alleviate their suffering amid the lack of secure water sources and insufficient support for these vulnerable groups.

Both parties emphasized that access to safe drinking water is a fundamental human right and essential for preserving life, reaffirming their commitment to working jointly with local partners to ensure the delivery of basic services and support Gaza’s residents who face severe humanitarian conditions.
