Funded by the Department of Refugee Affairs, Al-Manal Association for the Development of Rural Women implemented the solar energy project. This charitable project was completed and the foundation was able to activate the water well located on the foundation’s campus, which facilitated the provision of water to displaced families in neighboring shelters, as well as equipping water extensions for displaced families in houses neighboring the foundation. The number of beneficiaries per month was estimated at 1,000 families. The Chairman of the Board of Directors expressed his thanks and gratitude to the Department of Refugee Affairs, headed by the struggling brother / Dr. Ahmed Abu Holi (Abu Ghraib) for this generous grant. He appealed to donor institutions to help develop the project and obtain a water desalination unit to provide drinking water to displaced families.
