Introduction:
The Manal Association for Rural Women’s Development is a non-profit Palestinian civil society organization established in 1994 in Deir al-Balah City, with its headquarters in the Middle Governorate of the Gaza Strip. The association aims to support and empower the Palestinian community across all its segments, with a focus on vulnerable groups, including rural women, children, and marginalized families. It is officially registered with the Palestinian Ministry of Interior under registration number 7200 since 2000.
The organization has received a grant to implement a project aimed at improving economic opportunities and sustainable living for the most vulnerable groups in the Gaza Strip.
Project Overview:
In light of the current situation in Gaza due to the ongoing war and the suffocating blockade, the project aims to improve the economic and social conditions of the most vulnerable families in the Deir al-Balah Governorate. The project will focus on providing economic support through funding small projects and offering training that aligns with current circumstances. Efforts will be directed toward addressing the needs of the groups most affected by the war, such as rural women, unemployed youth, and low-income families.

]]>As part of the cooperation agreement between Al-Manal Association for Rural Women’s Development and the Saudi Center for Culture and Development, the association has received six truckloads of medical supplies, provided by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, to enhance healthcare services and support humanitarian efforts in affected areas.
In coordination with the relevant authorities, the association has distributed these supplies to medical centers, health points, municipalities, and local community organizations, ensuring they reach the most vulnerable populations. This initiative aims to alleviate suffering and improve healthcare services amid the current challenging circumstances.
Al-Manal Association for Rural Women’s Development expressed its deep gratitude and appreciation to the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center for this generous humanitarian initiative.
