During a visit by a delegation from the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage to the Al-Manal Association for the Development of Rural Women, a strategic partnership and cooperation agreement was signed between the Al-Manal Association for the Development of Rural Women, represented by its Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Mahmoud Fouad Musabah, and the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage, represented by its Director General, Dr. Issam Abu Khalil, a memorandum of understanding aimed at enhancing cooperation in implementing development and cultural programs aimed at supporting and empowering rural women and providing humanitarian relief to people with special needs and orphans.

The agreement stipulates enhancing the partnership in several areas, including shelter, relief and rural development. In addition to coordinating efforts to provide food aid to needy families, and empowering women in the rural sector through economic and social projects that include sustainable agriculture, handicrafts, and small productive projects.

This agreement comes as an affirmation of the depth of relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Palestine, as the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage, which was established in 2005, seeks to provide cultural and humanitarian support to the Palestinian community, while the Al-Manal Association has continued since its establishment in 1994 to enhance the role of rural women and provide humanitarian services to affected families. The two parties expressed their aspiration to achieve a sustainable impact through the implementation of the agreed projects and activities that aim to improve the economic and social conditions in the Palestinian community.
